We are looking for aspiring Project Engineer (EV/ EV Infrastructure) to join our team in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

As Project Engineer accountable for project deliverables of Yinson GreenTech on EV charging infrastructure solution and deployment for the Malaysian market, the role will develop the overall project route to the market and maintaining the project execution, communication, timeline, cost, and quality to support the achievement and execution of Yinson GreenTech strategy.

Successful candidates will have a proactive work attitude with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on a wide range of complex and time-sensitive tasks. We are seeking team members with a positive work style, who are well-organised, able to effectively multi-task and prioritise and who are ready to show and take initiative and drive projects forward.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accountable for design and engineering electrical charging stations.
• Ability to design, calculate and configure electrical drawings including SLDs
• Establish configuration standard configuration and establish BQs for different types of chargers with a most optimized cabling system
• Inspection and verification of existing SWBDs to evaluate the available spare capacities and designing load balancing solutions
• Good knowledge of electric vehicle charging solutions
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
• Design and cost optimization on the technical solutions
• Supervise and inspect installation services for EV Chargers based on the design
• Team player to support new solutions and evaluation of EV Chargers both makers and technical specification
• Establish necessary documentation and liaise with external professional engineers to avail necessary approvals
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Take part in design workshops to establish optimized solutions, liaise with authorities to get necessary approvals and also apply for additional power requirements
• Technical capability and understanding of energy storage, solar, and integrated load balancing electrical solutions
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering or relevant experience.
• Min 2 years of engineering experience
• Strong knowledge in EV charging station, electrical infrastructure, and electrical regulation
• Demonstrate Technical and Project Management Skills
• Willingness to innovate and create.
• 1 - 3 years experience in the electric vehicle or chargers industry will have an added advantage.
