Job Summary

The System Reliability Lead is responsible for coming up with the overall QA/QC check and to develop a strong maintenance plan to ensure high availability and uptime of the EV chargers and related equipment. Working closely with the COO of ChargeEV, the System Reliability Lead plays a

crucial role in executing the organization's strategic initiatives to ensure minimal downtime and everything works all the time. This position requires strong HSE first mindset, strong vendor management, operational expertise, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement DevOps methodologies for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Apply Site Reliability Engineering principles to balance feature releases and reliability.
  • Develop and enforce a robust QA/QC plan emphasizing automation.
  • Lead surveillance inspections and utilize advanced monitoring tools for compliance.
  • Incorporate predictive maintenance strategies into the Maintenance Master Plan.
  • Optimize maintenance scheduling with data-driven prioritization and coordination.
  • Implement inventory optimization techniques for repair parts and equipment.
  • Drive cost efficiency while maintaining service quality and compliance.

 

Qualifications:

  • In possession of a Degree in Mechanical / Electrical or Industrial Engineering from a recognized University
  • Should possess in-depth knowledge of all reliability programs such as RCM, RAM, FMEA, Bad Actors, and terminologies MTTR, MTBF.
  • More than 6 years’ experience in reliability, maintenance and process optimization
  • Willingness to travel as required for site inspections, vendor meetings, and team coordination.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Certifications such as Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), or certifications in Project Management (PMP), DevOps, or Six Sigma.
  • Experience in vendor management
