Internship Opportunity: Analyst intern Investor Relations & Rating

Yinson Production is a leading independent owner and operator of floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) vessels worldwide. With a focus on long-term lease and operate projects, the current fleet comprises 9 vessels, including 3 vessels ready to be connected or under construction, with a contract backlog of over USD 22bn until 2048. We operate in a capital-intensive industry and therefore engage actively with our capital providers: banks and institutional investors (debt).
The Role
We are looking for an Analyst Intern Investor Relations & Rating to join our team in The Hague, The Netherlands. As an intern, you will work closely with the Head of Investor Relations & Rating and the Senior Associate, gaining exposure to the daily activities of an IR department in a dynamic and rapidly growing company. The role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in capital markets, a desire to understand investor communication, and a curiosity about the energy sector.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of biweekly market updates, summarizing key trends in financial markets and the energy sector.
- Explore and conduct analyses using Bloomberg and S&P Capital IQ to identify trends and provide additional insights.
- Support the preparation and execution of quarterly earnings calls, including drafting presentation materials and assisting in logistical arrangements.
- Help maintain and update the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on investors and stakeholders.
- Collaborate in the creation of presentations, fact sheets, and other materials for investor communications.
- Assist with ad-hoc tasks related to the quarterly reporting process and engagement with rating agencies.
- Participate in investor meetings, taking notes and supporting follow-up actions.
- Draft email responses to investor inquiries, ensuring timely and clear communication.
- Perform any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program (e.g., finance, economics, business administration).
- Strong interest in capital markets, including both fixed income and equity, and a keen curiosity about global financial trends, especially in the energy sector.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, with an eye for creating compelling presentations.
- Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of self-motivation and the ability to engage with stakeholders.
- Previous experience or coursework in finance, investment analysis, or investor relations is a plus.
