The Treasury Operations Associate plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s financial health and strategic initiatives under the guidance of the Head of Corporate Treasury.

This role is instrumental in managing day-to-day treasury functions, optimizing cash management, ensuring financial risk compliance, and implementing treasury best practices.

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Assist in managing daily cash flows and ensuring optimal liquidity for operational and strategic needs.
  • Assist with operational cash flow forecasting and align forecasting with actuals.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures for cash management, banking, and investments, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyse financial risks, including foreign exchange, interest rates, and credit risks.
  • Assist in the development and optimization of treasury technologies and systems to improve transaction processing, reporting capabilities, and financial controls.
  • Assist in the administration of corporate banking structures, relationships, and agreements.

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Economics, or related field; Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CTP, CFA) highly preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in treasury operations, preferably within an international organization.
  • Understanding of treasury management, financial instruments, and risk management strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
