Reports to: Senior Topside Compressor Technician
Mission
Assist STCT for proper and continuous functioning of gas compression with minimum downtime.
Scope
Shall assist STCT for maintenance and monitoring of gas compressors skids, GTG and topside rotating equipment.
The management may assign additional tasks not listed in Job Description.
Duties
- To assist STCT for continuous operation of compressors, GTG and other topside rotating equipment
- Familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management System
- Report any hazardous situation and equipment failure to RES.
- Keep record of repairs, adjustments, the use of spare parts
- Shall assist STCT for supervision of all work performed by Rotating Equipment FSR/E related to FPSO Helang topside rotating equipment.
- Undertake training relevant to the position requirements
- On-the-job-training of colleagues and trainees
- To be fully familiar with rules, regulations, and work procedures applicable to the task to be executed
- Familiar with the PTW System
- Report status of equipment to STCT and PCR.
- To be fully familiar with rules, regulations, and work procedures applicable to his responsibilities.

- Delegated authority by STCT.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree of Mechanical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or equivalent engineering degree
- For other certificates and training, see Company Training Matrix, Unit Specific Training Matrix, and CBT Matrix
- Relevant engineering background knowledge acquired from third-tier education
- Relevant experience gained from oil and gas internship is advantageous
- Excellent command in English written and spoken
