Provide an HSEQ processes e.g. procedure to assist all Business Units in meeting their HSSEQ objectives.
The creation of operational processes from procedures, forms that align with corporate HSSEQ strategy and standards to provide a fully integrated management system is consistent with regulations and industry best practices.
Provide counsel, guidance and direction to the Managers, Supervisors and workers to adopt a conscious culture of managing health, safety, and the environment with a focus on adhering to best practices and international standards.
• Responsible to establish HSE requirements for the project;
• Ensure compliance with Company’s HSE Policies;
• Establish, maintain and implement the project's HSE Plan - be the owner of this Plan;
• Supervise contractors’ implementation of the HSE Plan and verify that contractors are complying with HSE requirements;
• Ensure implementation of HSE requirements and reporting in contracts & purchase orders;
• Maintain project's HSE statistics and report to Client and Yinson Production Management in accordance to contract requirements;
• Provide advice and assistance to Project Manager and other project team members on HSE matters;
• Liaise with clients on matters pertaining to HSE implementation and performance of the project;
• Serve as interface between Company and third parties on HSE matters;
• Initiate the establishment of project specific procedures, as necessary;
• Develop HSE induction and training programs as required;
• Promote HSE awareness and understanding of HSE requirements throughout the project;
• Serves as member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) between Company, Shipyard, Fabrication Yards, Client and third parties;
QHSSE Duties – every employee shall:
• Take care of themselves and others who may be affected by their acts or oversights;
• Not interfere with or misuse anything supplied for their health, safety and welfare;
• Report quality related problems and HSSE hazards or deficits within their area to the QHSSE department; and
• Promote and take part in the QHSSE continuous improvement process.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 -15 years heavy industry experience at a managerial Level.
- Demonstrable experience of working in wide range of countries with stringent government regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to adapt to different cultural and business environments, understanding local regulations and tribal market dynamics.
- Precious offshore /FPSO project experience will be a plus
