The Role 
We are looking for a (Senior) Associate, Treasury Operations for our office in Kuala Lumper, Malaysia. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Treasury, the (Senior) Associate, Treasury Operations will play a key role within the Treasury organisation, partnering with experienced treasury and finance professionals across the business. The position offers exposure to a broad range of treasury activities, allowing the successful candidate to apply a solid academic foundation while building on practical experience in a dynamic international environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities
•    Provide operational support in all daily Treasury related activities.  
•    Interact, coordinate and administer with business entities and cash management banks on bank related matters such as opening and closing of bank accounts, bank fees, KYC, OFAC related enquiries, audits and other relevant matters.
•    Administer and update the payment system and electronic banking system of the main cash management banks, approved by management. 
•    Manage cash forecasting and support global cash management strategy.
•    Prepare regular reports on cash balances, bank accounts, guarantees and other cash and treasury relevant reports. 
•    Oversee and coordinate the entities facilities requirements including review of facilities and recording the facilities into treasury system. 
•    Review and monitor funds transfer requests, and report on these within treasury.
•    Support the Corporate Treasury team in day-to-day operations, projects, data management, and the management of internal and external stakeholders.
•    Perform any other task that may be assigned from time to time.

 

Requirements
•    At least 2-4 years relevant experience in corporate treasury and/or corporate finance with a multinational corporation and/or a bank
•    Candidate with experience and knowledge of Treasury System and Treasury accounting will have added advantage.
•    At least Intermediate Level for Microsoft Excel (Advance Level is preferred).
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to communicate complex matters concisely and effectively
•    Comfortable with working under time pressure and with numbers with high attention to detail and a big picture view
•    A high degree of self-motivation, ambitious and hands-on, with an entrepreneurial mindset; a good team player with the ability to engage with people and deliver within tight deadlines and in a fast-paced, international environment
•    Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, business administration, economics, finance or equivalent from a recognised university; a postgraduate degree and/or a relevant professional qualification such as CTP are considered an advantage
