We are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to join our marine division (“marinEV”) to develop and manage exciting solutions for electric harbour craft and charging infrastructure. The successful candidate will be a key player in driving MarinEV’s growth and impact. 

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities: 

  1. Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and growth areas

  1. Develop strategies to expand MarinEV’s presence in new regions and business segments

  1. Cultivate relationships with existing and prospective clients 

  1. Generate leads through cold calls, emails, and networking

  1. Prepare technical and commercial proposals for electric fleet leasing

  1. Negotiate contracts and follow up with clients throughout the sales cycle

  1. Collaborate with Project Management teams for successful project execution

  1. Evaluate marketing opportunities, analyze competitors, and contribute to business models

  1. Assist in refining MarinEV’s business plans and growth strategies

  1. Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows

  1. Liaise with government agencies, partners, and stakeholders

  1. Extend MarinEV’s industry network globally

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline

 

Desirable:

  • Degree in marine or naval engineering

 

Skills & Expertice:

Essential:

  • Relevant work experience in the marine, oil & gas sector, renewable energies, or offshore construction
  • Familiarity with sales and marketing processes
  • Able to write Technical Reports
  • Office Tools – MS Office 
  • Cad Tools 

 

Desirable:

  • Marine or offshore experience at Project Management level
  • Experience in sales/marketing of electric / hybrid vessels
