Key Responsibilities:

• Study on the common issues encountered by vehicles under drivEV inventory
• Carry out research on potential vehicles to be onboarded onto drivEV inventory (common issues, long term cost and operational effectiveness)
• Come out with preventive measures / solutions to minimize the occurrence of common issues encountered by current drivEV fleet
• Technical knowledge on EV models especially models used by drivEV fleet (training with manufacturers)
• Create close relationship with vehicle brand manufacturer / distributor technical department (cost saving measures, cut down on vehicle downtime)
• 1st responder support for breakdown cases (Category 3) within Klang Valley if there is slow response from vendors
• Carry out visits to fleet operator’s depot / branches & do follow up calls to gather feedback after issues resolved
• In charge of Mobile Breakdown Van conversion project
• Carry out research on battery state of health of current drivEV fleet (priority - commercial models) and how to replace the battery
• Build knowledge on Navipulse telematics installation and wiring diagram (to be able to troubleshoot telematics issue when it affects vehicle functionality)

Qualifications:

• Diploma / Cert in Automotive Engineering
• 3-5 years experience in EV diagnostic is an added advantage
