Job Summary:

We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager (Key Accounts) to manage and grow our portfolio of strategic clients within the EV leasing business. 

 

This role is focused on deepening existing client relationships, maximising account value, and ensuring long-term retention, rather than originating new sales pipelines. You will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities within assigned accounts, structuring commercial solutions, and delivering a seamless client experience. 

 

You will play a critical role in driving recurring revenue, fleet expansion, and client satisfaction across key segments such as Corporate, GLCs, and Government-linked entities. 

 

Key Duties & Responsibilities: 

Key Account Management & Revenue Growth 

  • Own and manage a portfolio of strategic accounts, serving as the primary contact. 
  • Drive revenue growth within existing accounts through fleet expansion, contract renewals, and solution enhancements. 
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities (e.g. additional vehicles, charging solutions, value-added services). 
  • Develop account plans aligned with client business priorities and sustainability goals. 

 

Client Management:  

  • Build long-term relationships with client stakeholders, ensuring strong account retention and revenue growth. 
  • Provide consultative EV leasing solutions tailored to client needs. 
  • Conduct regular business reviews to track performance, address gaps, and identify future opportunities. 
  • Proactively manage client issues and escalations to ensure high satisfaction and retention. 

 

Commercial & Contract Management 

  • Lead contract renewals, renegotiations, and pricing discussions to optimise commercial outcomes. 
  • Ensure contracts remain relevant and competitive in line with market dynamics. 
  • Work with legal and finance teams to structure commercially sound leasing arrangements. 

 

Cross-Functional Coordination & Delivery 

  • Coordinate with operations, aftersales, and charging teams to ensure seamless service delivery. 
  • Monitor client onboarding, implementation, and ongoing service performance. 
  • Drive internal accountability to meet service level commitments for key accounts. 

 

Qualification and skills: 

  • Degree in Business Administration / Finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Key account management / B2B relationship management.
  • Builds trust with clients and consistently delivers value-added solutions. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for presentations, proposals, and follow-ups. 
  • Capable of handling negotiations involving pricing, contract terms, and strategic partnerships, with a focus on maximizing business impact and client satisfaction.
  • Strong communication / presentation skills.   
  • Proven track record in managing and growing strategic client accounts.  
  • Experience in EV, mobility, leasing, or automotive industry. 
  • Experience managing Government / GLC stakeholders. 
  • Familiar with fleet solutions.
