Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and self-motivated individual to join our Corporate Sustainability team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the development and execution of the company’s sustainability strategy, integral to Yinson’s overall Group strategy, particularly surrounding Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives. Your contributions will be fundamental in shaping our reputation and commitments in sustainability, ensuring we align with global standards and expectations.

Your work will involve close collaboration with senior leaders and colleagues from various business divisions and global offices of Yinson. You will assist in creating a comprehensive sustainability programme that aligns with our Group Vision, Mission and Strategy, actively participating in the promotion of our brand as a global corporate citizen. This role demands a unique blend of excellent communication skills, sustainability insight, creativity, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sustainability strategy, particularly focusing on ESG initiatives across the Group, ensuring alignment with our Group Vision, Mission, Core Values, and Strategy.
• Work collaboratively with the Corporate Sustainability team to create impactful messaging and advocacy materials that enhance Yinson’s brand in relation to our ESG commitments.
• Drive continuous enhancements to Yinson’s ESG disclosures across all communication channels, including Annual Reports, websites, and social media platforms, ensuring transparency and engagement.
• Lead awareness and outreach campaigns related to Yinson’s ESG commitments, fostering a culture of sustainability both internally and externally.
• Contribute actively as part of the core team to enhance ESG-related measurements and ratings, providing insights and strategies for improvement.
• Engage directly in the development of impactful CSR activities that resonate within Yinson’s local communities, reinforcing our commitment to social responsibility.
• Assist in the preparation of pitches and proposals for internal and external communications, showcasing our commitment and activities in sustainability.
• Support the advancement of biodiversity and nature-based projects that align with the Group’s Climate Goals, contributing to our environmental stewardship.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by your immediate superior or management, demonstrating flexibility and a readiness to support the team in various capacities

Requirements:

• Experience in ESG, sustainability, and/or corporate social responsibility-focused communication efforts is essential.
• Possesses a solid understanding of core ESG issues pertinent to the energy infrastructure and technology sectors.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in corporate sustainability, with a proven track record of leading initiatives.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, are necessary to convey our sustainability message effectively.
• Strong collaborative abilities, able to work laterally across various business units and geographical locations while engaging vertically across all staff levels.
• Proficiency in adapting quickly and thriving in a fast-paced environment with evolving challenges.
• Self-motivated with the capability to work independently while maintaining focus and direction amidst competing priorities.
• Willingness to travel as required to support ESG initiatives across our operations.
