Who are we?

As part of our continued expansion, we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Insurance Manager to strengthen our Group Insurance function. This role will play a critical part in safeguarding Yinson’s global operations by managing complex insurance portfolios, optimising risk transfer strategies, and ensuring robust insurance governance across our diverse business segments.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in special finance projects on system migration.
• Support data archiving requirements, including the retention of Prophix Financial Consolidation Excel Add-in working files and consolidation supporting documents for historical reference, audit, and compliance purposes.
• Download, extract and archive historical system audit trails, reports and supporting record for audit and compliance purposes.
• Build, maintain and regularly update trackers for data retention, archival and documentation activities to ensure completeness, accuracy and timely follow-up of project deliverables.

Ad-hoc responsibilities (as needed)

• Assist in master data cleansing, validation and maintenance activities during finance system migration projects.
• Support data gathering, mapping and reconciliation exercises between legacy and new financial systems.
• Perform data quality checks and identify inconsistencies in chart of accounts, entity structures and reporting dimensions.
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) by executing test scenarios and documenting test results.
• Assist in validating system-generated reports against legacy reports to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 1 to 3 years of working experience in financial accounting and reporting.
• Experience in financial reporting systems, ERP systems, data management or finance transformation projects would be an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in handling data, reports and documentation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work with large datasets and maintain structured records.
• Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Responsible, dependable and willing to learn, with a hands-on approach to completing assigned tasks.
• Able to perform repetitive activities consistently while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent) are advantageous but not mandatory.
