Job Summary:
The Senior Manager, Corporate Finance, Planning & Treasury supports Yinson Green Technologies’ strategic growth and financial sustainability. This role will oversee capital structuring, M&A transactions, financial planning, liquidity management, and risk mitigation strategies. The incumbent will be a key advisor to senior leadership, contributing to long-term value creation and financial resilience.
Corporate Finance and Financial Planning & Forecasting
- Lead all execution aspect of Yinson Green Technologies’ corporate finance activities including M&A, capital markets activities (equity and debt), divestitures, and strategic investments including negotiation with external parties ie lenders, counsels and various advisors.
- Lead financing, forecasting, corporate development, strategy implementation of Yinson Green Technologies’ businesses, operations (including all subsidiaries and investments) and actively assist, plan, and execute strategic initiatives.
- Lead the investment assessment process through the preparation and review of robust financial/valuation models, board papers and analysis of the investment details.
- Manages due diligence process related to corporate exercises (including acquisitions, divestitures, capital market exercises) which involves both internal and external parties.
- Lead the annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning processes across business areas including strategic insights and financial leadership to Business Area heads, ensuring alignment of financial and operational goals.
- Represent Corporate Finance in interdepartmental workstreams with Group Finance, Strategy, Company Secretariat, and Sustainability, ensuring financial alignment and consistency across the group.
- Provide oversight and guidance to junior team members across all financial transactions, investment evaluations and financial planning
Treasury
- Support day-to-day treasury operations including cash flow monitoring, short-term liquidity management, and working capital planning to ensure efficient fund utilisation.
- Liaison in relation to debt and bank account maintenance, including updates to the Limit of Authority and end-to-end debt drawdown proces
Qualifications & Experience:
- Possess a recognized Degree/Advanced Diploma in Accounting or Finance. MBA is an advantage.
- CFA charter holder and/or recognized Business, Quantitative Analysis degree and related Professional is an added advantage
- 10-12 years of work experience (at least 5 years in corporate finance) in Investment Banking/ Big 4/ Boutique M&A Advisory firms/ Private Equity firms.
- Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Excel (financial modelling and valuations).
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Power Point.
- Knowledge and experience of accounting, tax and legal related matters will be an added advantage.
- Experience in investment banking, M&A, distress and turnaround specialist, transactional advisory, is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to communicate complex matters concisely and effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing complex financial transactions, investment evaluations, or corporate planning cycles.
