This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the Group-wide implementation and continuous enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) frameworks. The incumbent will also play a role in supporting the Corporate Compliance function and may assume formal leadership of the function in the future, subject to capability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM):
- Lead the design, implementation, and governance of a robust Group-level ERM framework aligned with ISO 31000 and other leading practices.
- Drive strategic risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring processes across key business segments and functions.
- Ensure integration of risk management practices into strategic planning and investment decisions.
- Facilitate quarterly risk reviews, deep dives, and workshops with business segments’ leaders, functional heads, and risk coordinators.
- Oversee the management and rollout of the ERM IT system, ensuring adoption, scalability, and data integrity across the Group.
- Champion a strong risk culture by leading Group-wide training, awareness programmes, and capability building for risk and control owners.
- Continuously review and enhance risk policies, procedures, and methodologies to reflect business evolution and regulatory expectations.
Business Continuity Management (BCM):
- Oversee the Group’s BCM programme, ensuring comprehensive coverage through Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and Crisis Management Plans (CMPs).
- Lead the annual BCP simulation exercises and post-mortem reviews to validate readiness and improve response capabilities.
- Promote a culture of business resilience through continuous improvement of BCM frameworks and scenario planning.
- Lead the assessment and implementation of a BCM technology platform to automate and scale business continuity processes across entities.
Corporate Compliance Support
- Provide strategic support to the Corporate Compliance function, including alignment of risk, compliance, and governance initiatives.
- Participate in compliance reviews, audits, and enhancement of corporate policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Professional Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or certification is an advantage.
- At least 10–15 years of progressive experience in enterprise risk management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience in BCM framework design and implementation.
- Working knowledge of sustainability and ESG-related risk frameworks is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in stakeholder engagement and influence at C-suite and board levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams, drive cross-functional collaboration, and build organisational risk maturity.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and report writing skills.
