Core Responsibilities

• Carry out purchasing activities as required
• HSEQ matters related to own work
   

Duties

• Place and follow up all orders until delivery on board on the basis of approved requisitions.
• Follow up all repair orders in co-operation with the Technical Superintendent, Operations Manager, OIM.
• Collect, file and forward if required all applicable certificates and service reports related to a PO
• Follow up and record confirmation of receipt of goods from the offshore units.
• Follow up any outstanding parts of the PO until fully received and/or closed
• Record all orders into the purchasing system and keep them fully updated
• Keep up to date on relevant country specific requirements related to purchases and logistics arrangements
• Keep up to date on any client specific requirement which may be relevant to purchases and logistics arrangements
• Check invoices against orders
• Keep up to date on any procedures relevant to the discipline and/or scope of work in question
• Take initiative and responsibility for improvements/changes as relevant for the department, subject to line manager approval
• Advice Country Manager, and/or Head of Procurement - Operations of all matters that he/she has reason to believe should be brought to his/her attention
• Adhere to Yinson Productions Code of Business Ethics, YMW-0013 YHB.
• Adhere to Yinson Productions Anti Bribery AC Policy, YMS-0015 YHB.

Qualifications/ Skils

• Fluency in both Portuguese and English, written and verbal
• 3 to 5 years work experience
• Previous experience in a similar function.
• Knowledge of SAP, IFS or similar ERP Systems
   

Personal qualities

• Organized, responsible and punctual;
• Good at multi-tasking and working under pressure;
• Ability to take ownership of deliverables;
• Flexibility with workdays and some travel can be expected.
