Mechanical Engineer, Intern

As an Intern in the Technical Department of Yinson Lavender, you will support the team in daily operational, maintenance, engineering, and project-related activities. The internship program is designed to provide practical and technical industry exposure while allowing interns to contribute to ongoing departmental initiatives and operational improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Technical Department in daily engineering and operational support activities.
• Support maintenance planning, technical documentation, reporting, and data compilation tasks.
• Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and technical records for departmental use.
• Work closely with team members across different disciplines to support ongoing projects and operational activities.
• Contribute ideas and support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
• Perform administrative and coordination tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Education

• Undergraduate students currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant Engineering field such as Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Marine, Chemical, or equivalent.
• Applicants must currently be enrolled in university studies and have not yet graduated.

Requirements

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong initiative, positive attitude, and eagerness to gain industrial exposure.
