Core Responsibilities
- Support, supervise and assist onshore and offshore management team in operation of the units, focusing on rotating equipment.
- Support timely and professional performance of the preventative maintenance, housekeeping and repairs. Area of responsibility covers all designated units – primarily on rotating equipment but to assist with other equipment as and when needed.
Duties
- Support the unit’s Technical Superintendent on associated matters related to operations and maintenance of rotating equipment onboard FPSO Helang.
- Coordinating with all relevant OEM and subcontractors for technical support services.
- Responsible to assure safe and efficient operation of all rotating equipment – including but not limited to Gas Turbine Compressors, Gas Turbine Generator, Steam Turbine Generator, Pumps, Compressors and Diesel Generators.
- Review and follow up on cases raised from remote monitoring solutions and CBM routines, maximizing the benefits of predictive maintenance and CBM to reduce equipment downtime.
- Perform audit and inspection annually on rotating equipment onboard of FPSO, ensure rotating equipment and its ancillaries are maintained and operated in accordance with maintenance plan, aligning with manufacturer and regulatory requirement defined inside the Performance Standard.
- Prepare superintendent visit report upon visiting to the FPSO.
- Support FPSO maintenance team in event of equipment breakdown on troubleshooting; liaise with manufacturer for remote support and arrange deployment of service engineer as necessary.
- Responsible for planning and execution of gas turbine/compressor bundle changeout activity and any major overhaul, ensure it is conducted safely and efficiently with minimum downtime.
- Present at site for leading major equipment overhaul and engine changeout for safe and timely execution.
- Support the Technical Superintendent on capital and insurance sparing for rotating equipment.
- Assisting in new improvement projects and modification of existing equipment.
- Assist the Technical Superintendent in turnaround activities, particularly on scope related to rotating machinery.
- Perform risk assessments and review MOC related to technical change proposal for rotating equipment on
FPSO.
- Ensuring compliance with the HSEQ System.
- Developing, implementing and maintaining HSEQ System for the unit installations in cooperation with the HSEQ
Department.
- Taking part in the Emergency Response Team as required.
- Assist and provide input to Technical Superintendent and crewing department on resources management,
training and performance review related to STCT and ATCT.
- To assist procurement team with Rotating Equipment related subject and provide sound technical input to safeguard company’s interest in all commercial dealings with contractors while delivering maximum return value to company.
- Provide input to annual budget for operation and maintenance of rotating equipment.
- Prepare forecast on budget related to gas turbine changeout, compressor bundle changeout, major
overhaul, requirement for vital spares and services etc.
- Prepare input for monthly and quarterly report.
- Assisting Technical Superintendent.
HSE Responsibility

Qualifications
- Rotating equipment engineer background with a minimum of 8 years’ experience in either upstream oil and gas
production fixed platform or FPSO environment.
- Relevant Technical education (Masters/Bachelor’s degree).
- Must possess leadership qualities needed to support large, complex organizations.
- Excellent command in English, written and spoken.
