- Identify, analyse, and manage risks and opportunities related to the application of ISO, ISM, and ISPS codes.
- Ensure personnel across all levels and functions possess the necessary competence to effectively apply ISO, ISM, and ISPS codes.
- Implement a robust monthly reporting structure focused on measures of effectiveness for ISO, ISM, and ISPS code applications.
- Establish and maintain processes to monitor, review, and enhance the Yinson Management System (YMS) in alignment with ISO, ISM, and ISPS code requirements.
- Plan and execute Yinson Production's internal and external audit programs and conduct annual compliance audits of facilities and vessels for ISM, ISPS, and ISO codes. .
- Conduct assessments against standards, performance criteria, and legislation (ISO, ISM, ISPS, and Flag State requirements) to ensure risk management effectiveness.
- Perform internal monitoring, reviews, and audits of ISO, ISM, and ISPS Codes following established Quality Assurance Standards.
- Ensure effective processes for contractor risk assessment, selection, qualification, and performance management, meeting all regulatory, contractual, and organizational requirements.
- Identify, monitor, and manage operational risks within the Quality Assurance department, demonstrating annual improvements in residual risk scores.
- Maintain an effective process for identifying, evaluating, and addressing non-conforming outputs within specified timeframes.
- Foster a culture of innovation, knowledge sharing, and learning to enhance future performance.
- Ensure the organization complies with all Legal and Other Requirements, particularly concerning ISO, ISM, and ISPS codes.
- Maintain conformance of the Yinson Management System, procedures, and core business processes to ISO, ISM, and ISPS codes.
- Optimize the Quality Assurance department's core business processes for time, cost, and quality efficiency.
- Establish goals and measures for all direct reports as required by Human Resources.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Tertiary qualification in Science or Engineering.
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment.
- Lead Auditor qualified in ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001.
- Auditor qualified in ISM and ISPS.
Desirable:
- Postgraduate qualification in organisational strategy or business optimisation processes.
- Root Cause Analysis certification.
Skills & experience
Essential:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marine or offshore industries.
- 5–7 years of related experience in Oil & Gas or similar heavy industries.
- Significant experience operating in countries with stringent government regulatory frameworks.
- Proven expertise in delivering quality assurance initiatives, specifically within Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks, across diverse international settings.
Desirable:
- Demonstrated success working with internationally recognized companies known for implementing best practices, particularly in high-risk and high-consequence environments.
- Proven track record in fostering and embedding an effective quality assurance culture within a multinational environment, accommodating diverse perceptions of risk management and assurance.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment, particularly in assessing and mitigating potential risks.
