Job Summary:

 

This role requires good organization and coordination skills, as well as knowledge, communication, and management of maintenance and inventory related strategy, operation and governance. Direct contact with onshore and offshore stakeholders will be necessary, and externally as required.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Monitor Maintenance and Inventory KPIs and assist operating fleet in investigation and achievement on defined targets.
  • Provide analysis and insight to Line Manager and Operations as required on Maintenance & Inventory matters towards operating units. Propose and execute action plans based on analysis and insight.
  • Contribute as necessary to establishing relevant KPI and promote continuous improvement.
  • Own and develop processes for the offshore Maintenance and Inventory management as required.
  • Contribute as a key member of Maintenance Support team and execute required task for Maintenance & Inventory matters.

 

Duties:

 

  • Maintain, and uphold the integrity and accuracy of CMMS data within domain of expertise (Maintenance & Inventory activities, solutions / applications, etc.).
  • Manage and contribute to the development, execution, and supervision of plans, procedures, programs, and processes related to Maintenance and Inventory.
  • Perform training (new / refresher) as necessary to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate specifications / philosophy / standards / procedures.
  • Engaged in Lesson Learnt approach and process. Continuously promote good practice through lifecycle approach.
  • Travel as required, including but not limited to shipyards, other Yinson offices, candidate vessels (onshore/offshore), operational production units (offshore) and onshore support bases.
  • Facilitate and lead initiatives on digitalization and predictive maintenance.
  • Facilitate and lead maintenance and inventory enhancements projects as required.
  • Participate in audits / reviews of Units in operation as required.
  • Participate in incident investigation and provide discipline expertise when required.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Structural/ Mechanical/ Marine or Offshore Engineering, or a combination of education and relevant industry experience. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the offshore maintenance industry with a comparable ERP/EAM system (IFS preferred). 
  • Experience in strategy optimization is desirable.
  • Experience working in a global environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations. 
  • Advantage with SQL experience.
