Exciting opportunity to join our team as Senior Corporate Finance Manager!

 

Job Summary:

The Senior Corporate Finance Manager is accountable for the corporate finance affairs of Yinson Renewables' group of companies, including working closely with the wider corporate finance team on transactions (mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, disposals, debt financing, etc.). The role is also a unique opportunity to work in a multi-cultural environment across continents. The right candidate will actively lead debt financing processes, contribute to team goals, and proactively guide less-experienced team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to investment assessment processes across continents through development, maintenance and review of financial models for corporate and project-level analysis, including valuation, returns analysis (IRR/NPV), capital structuring, and scenario analysis
  • Lead corporate and project finance workstreams (including structuring, origination, documentation, completion, and maintenance)
  • Conduct industry, market, and competitor research and valuation to support strategic decision-making
  • Work closely with and coordinate communications with internal departments on various matters such as tax, finance, accounting, construction and operation .
  • Contribute to internal investment committee papers and board presentations
  • Undertake any other ad hoc assignments.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Possess a Bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance or related field. CFA Certification is a plus.
    Minimum 8 years of work experience in corporate finance, corporate banking, infrastructure investment and/or M&A advisory.
  • Solid track record of delivering project finance and capital markets solutions.  Experience from the renewable energy sector is preferred, but not a must.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of effectively leading a small team.
  • Exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Excel (VBA, financial modelling and valuations).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to communicate complex matters concisely and effectively.
  • A high degree of self-motivation, ambitious; a good team player with the ability to engage with cross-cultural teams and deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
  • Fluent verbal and written English is mandatory (Spanish is an added advantage).
