The Role

As a Package Manager within the Offshore Production Projects division at Yinson Engineering Management (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., you will play a critical role in planning, coordinating, and overseeing multiple project packages to ensure their successful delivery. You will work within a dynamic and multidisciplinary environment focused on delivering innovative offshore production solutions. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management of project packages from initiation through to completion, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Develop comprehensive package plans including scope, schedule, cost estimates, and risk assessments to maintain robust project control.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and supply chain teams to coordinate activities and achieve seamless integration across interfaces.
  • Monitor progress against plans, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to keep packages on track.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors to facilitate timely information sharing and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainable practices particularly related to offshore production projects.
  • Promote continual improvement initiatives and implement best practices to enhance project delivery efficiency and reliability.
  • Support risk management processes by identifying potential risks and working proactively to mitigate impacts on package delivery.
  • Contribute to the preparation of regular reports and updates for project leadership and clients, providing clear and accurate information on package status and challenges.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, project management, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in managing engineering or project packages within offshore production or similar industry sectors.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery lifecycle, contract management, and supply chain management.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and capability to manage complex interfaces.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools, with the ability to analyse data and generate insightful reports.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain collaborative relationships.
  • Commitment to upholding health, safety, and environmental standards in all activities.
