What you will do:
- Financial Management: They will spearhead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to ensure optimal resource allocation and financial stability.
- Operational efficiency: The F&O Manager will streamline our operational processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective systems and controls.
- Risk Management: They will develop and implement internal controls to safeguard our business’s assets and mitigating risk to ensure compliance with regulations and minimise potential liabilities/penalties.
- Strategic decision-making: The F&O Manager will provide valuable support in strategic decision making. By utilizing their financial acumen and operational insights, they will be able to align the operational strategies with financial targets.
- This position is reporting to the Business Unit Head and working closely with finance & operations.
- Assisting on day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial reporting, and general ledger activities.
- Coordinate and monitor the inventory movement and ensuring proper control is in place.
- Ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded, reconciled, and reporting of financial data.
- Monitor inventory transaction & periodic inventory count and perform reconciliation of inventory accounts to general ledger.
- Monitoring and ensuring timely collection from customers.
- To work with Business Leaders and collate information for budget requirements.
- To prepare the variance analysis and slides for monthly business review.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, including the preparation of financial statements, variance analysis, and management reporting.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize financial processes, streamline operations, and drive efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the accuracy, timeliness, and effectiveness of financial operations.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, banks, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and timely completion of financial activities.
Specific Qualifications Required:
- 8 years of experience in a similar role
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance with ACCA qualifications is an added advantage
