Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Support internal and offshore staff both remote and hands-on on IT and telecommunication devices.
  • Monitoring IT and communications infrastructure, both onshore and offshore and ensure that these are maintained.
  • Order, set up and assist with the installation, configuration and maintenance of new IT devices.
  • Maintain conference rooms, telecommunication equipment and regular checks of all working stations.
  • Maintain the asset management control up to date.
  • Liaise with IT Coordinator/Supply Chain to assist with hardware and software purchasing, shipping, and receiving for Brazil.
  • Prioritize and manage support cases.
  • Liaise with external IT vendors for support and technical issues.
  • Establish good working relationships with external third-party IT vendors and stakeholders.
  • Suggest improvements to IT policies and procedures and think creatively to produce new concepts and developments.
  • Help to ensure that IT solutions implemented in the Company are economically viable.
  • Work together with IT Coordinator directly under Senior IT Manager deployment that included both hardware and software installations in multiple sites and FPSO’s across Yinson Brazil.
  • Escalate issues as needed and maintain communication with technical team.
  • Other tasks as determined by the IT department.

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s in computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar job that has given you a good knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Office, Windows 10 or similar software;  Network infrastructure (onshore and offshore),
  • Experience in network cabling and patching.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Intune, Azure and 0365 and have good overall understanding of networks, software and hardware;
  • Proficiency in English, written and verbal.

Desirable:

 

  • Previous experience working in similar role for Oil & Gas industry will be an asset.
