Sumary:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for leading and supervising the performance and execution of the project and activities. Acts as a strategic link between technical support, operations, commissioning, construction, HSEQ, procurement and logistics teams, ensuring that all deliverables are carried out safely, within the schedule and budget, in compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements and the company's integrity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain execution plans and the proper allocation of personnel and equipment resources.
Monitor activity costs, ensuring all remain within the allocated budget, in conjunction with the company's controllers.
Supervise all execution, personnel and equipment mobilization and/or demobilization plans and activities.
Present and manage indicators on the monthly progress of activities, with formalization of deliverables by category (engineering, commissioning and construction).
Act as the focal point of contact for all activities, managing communications between departments, contractors and other stakeholders.
Coordinate and collaborate with procurement and logistics teams on the action plan to ensure the timely availability of resources for activities.
Coordinate, supervise the performance of and provide guidance to third parties, engineering, operations, commissioning and construction teams, as well as adherence to safety standards.
Maintain contact with the Technical Support Manager for alignment of strategies and initiatives.
Supervise riser pull-in activities with subcontractors and the client.
Monitor and record any deviation from quality standards as per the contract and scope of work.
Conduct regular quality inspections of work performed, especially upon completion of each activity.
Collect, verify and control all documentation, ensuring the quality of information as well as project requirements.
Ensure that all relevant policies, procedures, task plans and checklists are available and communicated.
Ensure the delivery of the unit project in compliance with the integrity conditions and standards established by the company.
Track time consumed and progress in relation to contracted personnel, rented equipment and consumable consumption.
Ensure that the Permit to Work (PTW) system is complied with across all project activities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Naval, Production, Petroleum or related fields) — BSc/MSc.
Active CREA (Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy).
Postgraduate degree or MBA in Project Management (PMP, PMI or equivalent).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of the organization.
Fluency in English (verbal and written) — essential for interaction with international teams.
Solid technical knowledge of FPSO systems and equipment.
Proficiency in project planning and control tools (MS Project, Primavera or similar).
Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (IMS) and technical documentation platforms.
Familiarity with offshore industry regulations and technical standards.
Knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) system management.
Professional Experience:
Solid experience in project coordination on FPSOs or large-scale projects in the international oil and gas industry
Experience in activity management on FPSOs Experience in cost control in the offshore oil and gas sector.
Experience in technical maintenance roles and maintenance philosophy on offshore units.
Experience in supervising contractors and subcontractors in an offshore environment.
Previous experience in FPSO engineering projects (construction, commissioning, operation).
Commercial knowledge and experience in contract management.
Experience with document management systems and quality control.
