Sumary:

As an Infrastructure Analyst within the Information Technology, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, efficiency, and security of our IT infrastructure that supports bouth our office and offshore production operations. This position is based in Rio de Janeiro and is integral to maintaining the technological backbone of our office and offshore production business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage robust IT infrastructure solutions tailored to support offshore production needs.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of essential services and systems.
• Manage servers, storage systems, and virtualisation platforms to optimise performance and resource utilisation.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce security protocols, handle incident responses, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to plan for capacity, upgrades, and equipment maintenance.
• Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and changes to maintain clear and accessible technical records.
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning and business continuity strategies specific to IT infrastructure.
• Support the development and deployment of new technologies that enhance operational efficiency and infrastructure resilience.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other IT team members and offshore production stakeholders as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing complex IT infrastructure environments, preferably within energy, offshore, or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of network technologies, including routing, switching, and firewalls.
• Experience with server operating systems such as Windows Server and Linux distributions.
• Familiarity with virtualisation technologies (e.g. VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms.
• Understanding of IT security best practices and standards including ISO/IEC 27001.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues efficiently.
• Excellent organisational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across diverse teams and locations.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese is advantageous for effective communication within the global and local teams.
