Key Responsibilities

  • Key resource for the Operations Managers with respect to the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) and

maintenance management/material management.

  • Responsible for the development, implementation and support of the Company’s maintenance management systems.
  • Assist in development of philosophy, strategies and goals related to maintenance management.
  • Report key activities, progress and results to Head of department.
  • Establish, implement and maintain procedures and routines related to maintenance support and modifications.
  • Establish and maintain a good working relationship with clients, Operation Managers and offshore units.
  • Participate in life extension studies, facility upgrades, major shutdown and turnaround programs.
  • Liaise with the project division in the development of maintenance management systems for new facilities.
  • Ensure regular reviews and analyses of maintenance related KPI’s.
  • Actively contribute to the Company’s Asset Integrity Management regime.
  • Participate in audits / reviews of Units in operation as required.
  • Participate in incident investigation and provide technical support to Emergency Response Team as and when required.
  • Support in liaising with Classification societies and statutory regulators as and when required.
  • Provide input for new project bids and variation orders, based on Lessoned Learned from operating facilities.
  • Manage CMSS team during project phase.
  • Provide budget input to Operation Manager as required.
  • Continuously make suggestions for improvements in all spheres of influence.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications

  •  Engineering degree from a good university is mandatory.
  • CREA-RJ accredited.

Skills & Experiences

  • Experience as Maintenance Engineer in the Brazilian O&G sector. 
  • Excellent English and Portuguese verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Experienced working in FPSO projects and/or Operations.
  • A Post-Graduation degree would be desirable.
