We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our Offshore Production Operating Division, based in Rio de Janeiro. This role is a critical part of our Onshore Operations Support team and plays a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of offshore production assets. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting the maintenance strategies and activities that help maintain continuous and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and implement maintenance plans, schedules, and procedures for offshore production equipment and systems to maximise operational availability.
- Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Perform technical analysis and troubleshooting to diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Collaborate closely with operations teams, suppliers, and contractors to plan and execute maintenance work efficiently and effectively.
- Contribute to the improvement of maintenance processes and system reliability through data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health, safety and environmental (HSE) standards during all maintenance operations.
- Support the preparation of maintenance reports, documentation, and compliance records for internal and external audits.
- Participate in risk assessments and contribute to the development of maintenance-related safety procedures and emergency response plans.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Marine Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience in maintenance engineering, preferably within the offshore oil and gas or marine production industries.
- Strong understanding of offshore production equipment, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and relevant software tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver maintenance projects within agreed deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities and teamwork orientation.
- Knowledge of international safety standards and regulatory requirements applicable to offshore operations.
