Job Summary


Assist in all support operations/duties to the operation and maintenance of the FPSO.

Key Duties & Responsibilities


Provide assistance to the Operations Manager in (not limited to):

  • Providing maximum technical and maintenance support to the respective unit
  • Continuously improve and monitor the Computer Management Maintenance System (CMMS) for respective unit
  • Ensure the FPSO are maintained with respect to class/statutory or other regulatory requirements
  • Facilitating training and maintenance related activities in the office
  • Visit the installations regularly to carry out physical verification of equipment maintenance
  • Verify if the planning process (90Days, Annual and 5 year) is active and provide guidance if required.
  • Provide input for improvement of Maintenance Management system.
  • Actively monitor the reporting through CMMS, and other maintenance / inspection reports with the aim to ensure continuous improvement regarding the effectiveness of maintenance.
  • Review the critical equipment spares below minimum and instruct / support the units as required to maintain critical spares.
  • Major breakdown / overhaul support. This includes resources / vendor mobilization, spares / tools follow up with supply chain and / or vendor, and any other logistic related to this break down.
  • Schedule and mobilize service team as per service agreements.
  • Review reports from technical and maintenance service providers and initiate appropriate actions as required to rectify the issues, if there is any.
  • Follow up Class, Flag and other statutory inspections / surveys including corrective / preventive actions as required.
  • Provide budget requirements to Operations Manager in terms of maintenance, long term plan and surveys.
  • Monitor and provide support for implementation and completion of Management of Changes.

Qualifications

 

  • Essential
    • Engineering degree from a good university is mandatory.
    • CREA-RJ accredited.
  • Desirable
    • A Post-Graduation degree would be desirable.

 

Skills & Experiences

 

  • Essential
    • Eexperience as an Operations Engineer in the Brazilian O&G sector.
    • Excellent English and Portuguese verbal and written communication skills.
  • Desirable
    • Experienced working in FPSO projects and/or Operations.
