Role Overview

As an Operations Intern, you will assist in managing and coordinating various operational activities, supporting processes that maintain safety, reliability, and compliance within the offshore production unit. You will be exposed to a broad spectrum of operational functions, learning about industry best practices and operational controls that are critical in offshore energy production.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring and analysing onshore operational data to support offshore production activities.
• Support the coordination and communication between onsite teams and onshore support functions to facilitate operational continuity.
• Contribute to the preparation and review of operational reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
• Participate in the development and implementation of process improvements aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and safety.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to understand and contribute to compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Support documentation management, maintaining up-to-date operational manuals, procedures, and records.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks that support the department’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Availability for a two-year internship.
• Good organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a willingness to adapt to company-specific software tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken, is preferred.
• Interest in offshore production operations and eagerness to develop technical knowledge in this area.
