Roles & Responsibilities:

As a Corporate Finance, Investment, and Strategy Analyst in Yinson GreenTech, your role would be multifaceted and crucial to the company's growth and success. Some key responsibilities and tasks you might be involved in:

 

Financial Modelling, Valuation and Analysis:

  • Develop and manage the company's financial models, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs to track the company's progress towards its goals.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for investors, board meetings, and internal stakeholders.

Capital Raising and Investment Management:

  • Identify potential sources of funding, including venture capital, private equity, and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead fundraising efforts, including preparing pitch decks, financial projections, and due diligence materials.
  • Negotiate investment terms and structures with investors, and financiers.
  • Manage relationships with existing investors and stakeholders.

Corporate Strategy and Business Development

  • Work closely with the CEO and the Senior Leadership Team to define the company's long-term strategic direction.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Evaluate potential partnerships, acquisitions, and expansion opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and increase market share.

 

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Assess and mitigate financial risks, including market, operational, and regulatory risks.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Implement internal controls and processes to safeguard company assets and promote financial transparency.
  • Performs and coordinates financial, tax and operational due diligence with internal resources or with external advisors (e.g. legal counsel, auditors, bankers).
  • Preparation and review of information in various data room for businesses that we own and operate, joint venture entities and strategic investment portfolios.

Overall, your role as a Corporate Finance, Investment, and Strategy Analysts is essential for steering the financial health and growth trajectory of the startup technology company. By providing strategic guidance, managing investments, and driving financial performance, you play a critical role in achieving the company's goals and maximizing shareholder value.

 

In addition to these responsibilities, as a finance leader in a startup, you may also need to be adaptable and willing to take on various tasks outside of your core role to support the YGT's growth and success. This could include participating in strategic planning sessions, contributing to business development efforts, or assisting with operational initiatives as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance, Commerce, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or any related field
  • CFA Charterholder or related certification will be preferred
  • Under/PostGraduate Degree or equivalent in Finance, Statistics, Business, Economics, Accountancy or any related discipline.
  • CFA Charterholder, Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst or equivalent
  • Min. 10 years’ experience in corporate finance, investment banking, consultant role.
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with high analytical and problem-solving skill. Intellectual curiosity and strong professional judgment
  • Energetic team player with ability to work independently
  • Strong ability to work laterally across different business units and vertically across all staff levels
  • Keen interest in innovating and seeking new ways of doing things
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail
  • Good knowledge of IFRS, international and local reporting norms and regulations
  • Able to work in a fast-driven and dynamic work environment
