Exciting opportunity to join our Renewables team as Finance Manager!

Job Summary

The Finance Manager will be primarily responsible for leading the consolidation & accounting policies.

Location: Singapore
 

Duties

  • Lead the monthly consolidation of financial data from multiple entities of different regions.
  • Collaborate with finance teams in different entities to streamline consolidation procedures.
  • Timely preparation of accounting assessment/papers as per MFRS/IFRS.
  • Prepare and maintain accounting policies.
  • Implement and enforce financial policies and procedures to maintain high standards of financial integrity.
  • Prepare management papers for the fund flow to different entities and arrange the timely sign-off.
  • Drive & implement various process improvement initiatives facilitating automation & efficiency. 
  • Lead the implementation of the existing ERP (IFS) to new subsidiaries.
  • Support in preparing management reports & cost analysis.   
  • Manage ad-hoc matters arising and perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
  • Collaborate with the wider Finance team to drive a culture of delivery and excellence.

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • ACCA/CPA/accounting certification from a recognised university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in the areas of multi-currency consolidations, intercompany transactions, revaluation, translation, and financial reporting. 
  • Experience from a multinational organisation/Big 4 is an advantage.
  • Strong technical accounting skills including knowledge of IFRS.
  • Proven ability to leverage current technology to drive process efficiencies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to communicate complex matters concisely and effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • A high degree of self-motivation, ambitious; a good team player with the ability to engage with cross-cultural teams and deliver within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
  • Fluent verbal and written English is mandatory (other languages are an advantage).
