- Maintain a consolidated enterprise risk register across FPSO fleet, offshore projects, and shore-based support functions
- Ensure consistent application of risk governance standards across all assets and departments
Operational & Offshore Risk Management
- Identify, assess, and continuously monitor operational risks across FPSO assets, ensuring safe, reliable, and uninterrupted offshore production performance.
- Track operational risk exposure related to process safety and critical equipment reliability
- Ensure continuous monitoring of high-risk activities including offloading operations and maintenance shutdowns
Project Risk Management
- Facilitate structured, cross-functional risk workshops across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases
- Provide risk-based advisory support to project and operations leadership to ensure informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assess risks related to shipyard activities, fabrication delays, and commissioning readiness
- Track project cost, schedule, and contractor performance risks
Predictive Risk Intelligence & Historical FPSO Benchmarking
- Develop standardized risk templates specific to FPSO lifecycle phases (design, conversion, operations, decommissioning)
- Build and maintain a centralized historical risk database across all FPSO assets and projects
- Analyze historical downtime events, equipment failures, and offshore operational disruptions
- Establish predictive risk benchmarks for:
- FPSO production downtime probability
- Maintenance failure trends
- Marine offloading risks
- Contractor performance patterns
- Use historical insights to improve future FPSO project planning, cost estimation, and operational readiness
Assurance & Governance
- Conduct periodic risk assurance reviews across FPSO assets and project sites
- Validate effectiveness of risk mitigation measures and operational controls
- Support internal and external audit processes including classification society and regulatory inspections
- Report key risk indicators (KRIs) and critical exposures to executive leadership
Key Deliverables
- Enterprise Risk Management Framework
- FPSO Risk Register
- Standardized FPSO Risk Assessment Templates
- Historical FPSO Risk & Lessons Learned Database
